Forest Trails in Bhugaon at Pune is spread across 190 acre. The Township is spread comprises of Residential Apartments, Bungalows, Plots, School, College and Senior Citizen Housing Community.
Challenges
- Prior solutions of managing wet waste not effective as quantum of waste was rapidly increasing.
- Difficulty in utilization of manure generated through composting.
- Excessive cost in consumables and labour to manage the wet waste.
- Minimising Odour associated with the Wet Waste.
Solution
The Aindri Team set up a plant at a captive consumption plant to process the wet waste produced into electricity. The electricity generated is captive used to meet common area electricity requirements.
