FAQ

The Aindri plant can be set up in the basement, terrace or any open area of your premises.

The Digester is fabricated in Mild Steel (MS). Moreover, it is coated externally with Fibre Reinforced Plastic (FRP) and an internally with an Epoxy coat to the internal walls of the plant.

The Aindri plant is designed to meet the exact existing or potential waste generated on the premises.

Biogas produced from the Aindri plant comprises of 55-65% - Methane 25-35% Carbon Dioxide and the remainder is Sulphur and Moisture. The gas is at a very low pressurization of around 0.5 bar. The light weight and low pressurization of Methane ensures that the gas will rise up and dissipate into the air without any damage to the surroundings.

The Solid Waste Management Guidelines, 2016 look at the Aindri plant as waste management mechanism requiring no additional permissions upto a capacity of 5 TPD.

The odour stems from the gas emitted from the waste, which is captured by the Aindri Plant to further convert to energy. Hence the plant produces minimal odour.

The Aindri plant will continue to process the waste. However, there is will be a drop in output of Cooking gas/ Electricity

The Aindri plant processes the waste into gas within 18-21 days the first time. Thereafter, the plant can be fed every day.

The Aindri plant uses Biomethanation/ Anaerobic digestion which is an approved technology under the Solid Waste Management Guidelines, 2016 to meet the mandate.

Yes, the Aindri Plant generates Bio energy classified as a Renewable Energy by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India.
